Made a new music video: Big Ben - Scuff It Out..

Well I've been ticking off the taboos.
My first stab at a music video was the deep exploration of feminism within rap music, pushing the boundarys of bad taste and indecency permitted on youtube. Mr Drastick's 'I Make the Girls' was essentially a bunch of porn clips with Dras' head and the heads of some of his 'fave hoes' stuck over the top... Your granny wouldn't have liked it..

After that a few artists and managers got in touch to ask for something similar but the Big Ben tune stuck out.. Anyway now I'm on this slippery slope, 4 minutes of violence seemed like a natural next stop on my tour!



... as fun as this was, any rappers with tracks about drugs, I think I'll pass. I need a break from the harsh realities now. So if you've a song about dinosaurs, aliens or haunted lunchboxes please, please get in touch!!

I’m going to make a claim now, based on zero research - no sifting through data has occurred and yet I will boldly state that the search term, ‘Girls Kissing’ has like been entered into YouTube like a massive ton of times by like loads of males. Constantly.
This may just possibly have been the inspiration for Katy Perry’s, tag-tastic ‘I kissed a girl.’ now she’s got our slathering attention she’s set to unleash a series of powerful feminist anthems that form her politically charged debut album. “I’m totally bummed about real issues like the global shortage of affordable accommodation. That’s why I’m calling my first record, ‘2 girls one cupboard.’” Said the pop newcomer.

Just kidding. I am however deadly serious in my support for the campaign to bring irritating ‘meep’ ranting puppet Beeker to trial. It seems this cynical submuppet joins the aforementioned Katy Parry (’s song writers) in calculated coldhearted commercialism masquerading as music. It seems Beeker owns all rights to the ‘Meep’ and receives a royalty every time it’s used to cover an expletive on the telly.. Therefore it’d be really handy if all viewers could log on to www.sendbeekertojail.com and pledge support.. just give me a few days to register the domain and forward it to another blog I need to write and… tell you what don’t bother.

Not enough hours in the day, too busy marveling at The View. A show where people with half-baked opinions tackle half-baked topic ideas.. and occasionally cry a bit in an attempt to avoid looking stupid or in this case racist.. In my mind, the production team, bored with hearing them harp on about Michael Bolton and Issues facing young women in the murky backwaters of the fashion industry, decided to beef things up a bit and toss in the odd tet-a-tete on the N-word.. and the ramifications of genocide… They’ve since got together and decided to steer things towards Neo knitting and filo pastry pictures.

ps. it turns out there are no girls kissing in the Katy Perry video so all footage has been removed from this weeks Sneeze in protest. That’ll teach her.

You’ve got to hand it to Fox. When upstanding pillar of the community Rev. Jessie Jackson unleashes torrid lashings of hate - laced with a gasp inducing three letter word - upon the presidential candidate he is supporting (all be it from a distance) - and expresses deep held desires to brutally dismember key parts of his sexual equipment… ok there was some whispering and sheepish sideways glances.. We can at least be grateful for their ongoing wisdom and sensitivity. Like that of a television station run by buddhist monks they had the good grace to bleep and censor the most vile and traumatic phase of the ordeal - the word… ‘nuts.’

If you ask me it’s no major eye opener that Rev. JJ’s faith isn’t wholly compatible with the Democratic candidate’s. Obama is a Muslim after all, isn’t he? Fox? not so much clarity on that one.. meanwhile, somewhere in a padded room far far away the game geeks are upset again - cue mildly autistic ff13 nut. He talks like Ming the merciless, he’s got the maniacal tones, hand gestures and huge wine glass full of milk down to a T. The only downside is our villan neglects to scream anything about all the PS3s being, ‘Mine, mine miiinnne!’ and then laughing like a possessed child whilst the room becomes strangely echoey… no, this is the classic, camp sci-fi bad dude, complimented by refreshingly modern strategy. His demands are authentic in construction, “YOU WILL SUBMIT TO THE GAMER’S WILL.” But his threats? well he’s going to blow something up surely? no. he’s going to hack into the manufacturer’s mainframe and wreak stupefying havoc? no. What’s he going to do? he’s going to start… a petition. That’s what.

In other news, Feist joins the cast of Sesame Street, some models do a worse job of walking than a pickled football ref. and Google launch a new app that allows people to virtually kick each other and do ‘dead funny’ stuff in each-other’s ‘rooms’ whilst talking online. Sit on the table.. try and knock things over, do the obligatory sex simulations then get bored and go back to IM again..
